Contract turkey growers have less than a month to apply for Coronavirus Food Assistance Program payments.

The U.S. poultry sector is closely monitoring the avian influenza outbreak in Europe. There are several highly pathogenic H5 strains circulating right now.

USDA officials extended the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP-2) to contract turkey growers. Program runs now through February 26.
