Visit a 6th Generation Turkey Farm
The Millennial Farmer visits Oakdale Farm, a 6th generation farm that raises breeder turkeys. These turkeys lay eggs every day, which are then sent to a hatchery. Once hatched at the hatchery, these “poults” (or baby turkeys) are then sent to grower farms to be raised for meat.
