MTGA is committed to providing the most up to date and relevant industry information. HPAI continues to be a developing issue for the industry as does Avian Pneumovirus. These monthly webinars will provide disease updates, but will also include other industry topics. Industry experts will be brought in to discuss these topics.
For this month, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Director Greg Norfleet will be join to discuss the state's new Paid Leave program that goes into effect January 2025. Norfleet will go over the responsibilities of agriculture employers and setting up wage detail accounts to ensure they are in compliance with the state law.
As always, the webinar will conclude with Dr. Shauna Voss with the MN Board of Animal Health updating everyone on Minnesota's poultry diseases and board activities.
