Purina's Scott Waldner awarded Minnesota Turkey Growers Association Allied Lifetime Achievement

Minnesota turkey growers from across the state voted to re-elect Lynette Gessell of Little Falls to the Minnesota Turkey Research and Promotion Council (MTRPC).

Minnesota turkey growers from across the state re-elect Tim Miller of Hanska to the Minnesota Turkey Research and Promotion Council (MTRPC).

The Minnesota Turkey Research & Promotion Council (MTRPC) elected Max Velo Treasurer of the Board. Velo will serve the Council as Treasurer for a one-year term.

After winning election to the MTRPC by the state’s turkey farmers, New Ulm’s Loren “Butch” Brey was elected to Vice President of the Council.

The Minnesota Turkey Research & Promotion Council (MTRPC) elected has Pete Klaphake President of the Board. Klaphake will lead the Council for a one-year term.

To demonstrate the risk and reward of biosecurity, MTGA and UMN Extension are teaming up to bring a fun simulator game to the doorsteps of turkey farmers.
