NTF Summer Leadership Conference – Student Program
The National Turkey Federation (NTF) annually hosts a Leadership Conference in Washington DC. Leaders in the US turkey industry attend this conference to gain knowledge on current legislative issues impacting the turkey industry and to visit with elected officials. The Student Program is designed to encourage and support college age students from across the US to participate in the NTF Leadership Conference so they experience how citizens interact with the legislative process. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other students from across the US that have an interest in the turkey industry. The Minnesota Turkey Growers Association’s Ranelius Scholarship Program is designed to encourage students who are or plan to enroll in a post-secondary educational institution in Minnesota to prepare for a career in some phase of the poultry industry. A total of $5,000 annually is available to distribute to worthy candidate(s).
Recipients(s) may be asked to participate as a Minnesota Turkey ambassador at public events during the year. Scheduling will be mutually agreed upon and all expenses will be reimbursed.
Our “Talkin’ Turkey” educational kits provide students with a fun and active learning experience designed to enhance their knowledge of the turkey industry and Minnesota agriculture. Please contact us for details.

Farm Camp Minnesota
Farm Camp Minnesota is organized and sponsored by farmers and agribusiness people who love what they do and want to share that passion with Minnesota youth. Farm Camp Minnesota is a fun place for Minnesota Youth to get together and learn about modern agriculture and how their food is produced. Details on the 2013 camp are available here!
